We specialize in supplying nurses, healthcare assistants and ancillary staff to private and public healthcare establishments, such as hospitals, nursing homes and medical centres. The support our staff provide is essential to maintaining the safety and quality of patient care. Kare Plus believes the future lies with the quality and performance of our franchise owners and our vision is to become the market leader in the provision of healthcare services. This will be achieved by recruiting and working closely with franchise owners, and by integrating new services into our model so that we can always meet the ever-changing requirements of the healthcare sector. THE ROLE As an agency HCA you are required to be a social support for the residents with the settings you work. You are to provide support in all areas to promote independence and act as an advocate where necessary all whilst working under the management of Kare Plus being answerable to both the client and Kare Plus. Duties (to include but not limited to); To assist with all activities of daily living. To prepare meals and assist where needed Assist residents to maximise independence. To promote independence to the fullest, allowing the resident choice and provide superior person-centred care. To work as part of a team and respect colleagues and residents at all times To promote safe working practices in line with company policies and procedures. Required Education Skills and Qualifications; QQI level 5 in healthcare support or be registered and in the processing of completing the course. QQI Level 5 in Care Skills & Care of the Older person qualification (or have commenced course) Own car and clean driving license (preferable) Solid verbal and written communication skills
