About this job

The welder will work on construction sites, using MIG and Arc welding techniques on steel structures. The role focuses on welding tasks to help assemble and maintain structures safely and correctly.
Main duties include:
Read simple drawings and follow instructions
Carry out welding using MIG and Arc/stick methods
Cut and prepare metal parts for welding
Join metal components on-site (various locations)
Check finished welds for quality and strength
Follow health and safety rules at all times
Keep tools and equipment clean and in working condition
Work as part of a construction team (good communication essential)
Requirements:
Experience in MIG and arc/stick welding
Basic understanding of construction work
Ability to follow instructions and work safely
Physically fit and able to handle manual work
Job is mainly based on construction sites.
