Job Title: Health Care Assistant Status: Full Time Contract Location: County Wexford We are recruiting Health Care Workers to help support a person with an intellectual disability and/or Autism to enjoy an ordinary life while being supported and empowered so that they can live their life to the fullest while in a residential setting.

Duties Support the Team to ensure that the service you provide complies with the applicable HIQA regulations. Sufficient professional knowledge to carry out the duties and responsibilities of the role. Ensure compliance with record keeping is in line with legislation and HIQA requirements.

Work directly with individuals and completing administrative tasks relating to the day-to-day running of the house. Be highly organised, have excellent report writing and IT and time management skills. Flexibility and openness to change Our ideal candidate FETAC/QQI level 5 Major Award in Healthcare Three year’s experience supporting children/adults with intellectual disabilities and/or autism.

Applicants must have relevant experience Experience in a HIQA regulation environment and supporting children/adults with intellectual disabilities Excellent organisational and communication skillsStrong knowledge of HIQA Standards. Full Clean Driving Licence Class B desirable.
