Bar Staff

Duties to include - Welcome guests in a friendly, professional, and approachable manner.

Take food and drink orders accurately and efficiently. Prepare and serve pints, cocktails, wines, spirits, soft drinks, and food to a high standard. Deliver food and beverages promptly while ensuring an excellent customer experience.

Maintain excellent product knowledge to confidently recommend drinks, menu items, and promotions. Assist guests with menu recommendations and answer any queries. Handle customer requests, feedback, and complaints professionally and efficiently.

Operate tills and process cash and card payments accurately. Ensure the bar is fully stocked and prepared throughout service. Monitor stock levels and report shortages to management.

Clear, clean, and reset tables to maintain a welcoming dining environment. Maintain a clean, organised, and hygienic bar, restaurant, and back-of-house areas. Assist with opening and closing duties, including setup and shutdown procedures.

Work collaboratively with colleagues to deliver smooth and efficient service during busy periods. Follow all health & safety, food hygiene, licensing, and responsible alcohol service regulations. Support the wider team with general duties to ensure an outstanding guest experience at all times.

What you'll bring Previous experience working in a bar, pub, restaurant, hotel, or hospitality venue. Excellent customer service and communication skills. Friendly, approachable, and confident when interacting with guests.

Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a busy environment. Strong teamwork and a willingness to support colleagues. Reliable, punctual, and well-presented.

Good organisational and time-management skills. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, bank holidays.
