Depot Sorter

This is a permanent part-time, on-site role for Depot Sorters based in Balbriggan. Depot Sorters are responsible for unloading parcels from vehicles, sorting parcels according to destination and delivery routes, and loading sorted parcels onto outbound vehicles. The role involves scanning and labeling items, handling parcels with care to prevent damage, and maintaining an organized, safe working environment in the depot. Team members follow established procedures and work closely with colleagues and depot supervisors to ensure accurate, timely parcel processing and adherence to health and safety guidelines. Qualifications Ability to perform manual handling tasks, including lifting, carrying, and moving parcels safely. Strong attention to detail and accuracy when sorting, scanning, and labeling parcels. Good teamwork and communication skills to collaborate effectively with depot colleagues and supervisors. Reliability and punctuality, with flexibility to work varying shifts, including early mornings or evenings. Basic IT skills for operating scanners and depot systems; prior warehouse or logistics experience is an advantage. Commitment to following health and safety procedures and maintaining a clean, organized work area. Previous experience in warehousing, logistics, or parcel delivery operations is beneficial but not essential. Hours per week: 20 hours over a 6 day roster Monday to Saturday
