Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Operation Specialist to support and optimise third-party logistics (3PL) warehouse operations across European markets. The successful candidate will be responsible for warehouse performance management, inventory control, process optimisation, vendor management, labour planning, operational quality control and cross-functional collaboration within a fast-paced cross-border e-commerce environment.
End-to-End Warehouse Operations Management
Manage daily end-to-end warehouse operations under the 3PL operating model, including inbound, outbound and inventory management. Ensure inventory accuracy, fulfilment quality, service performance and operational compliance. Coordinate execution and continuous improvement of inbound quality inspection, put-away, storage, picking, packing and outbound shipping activities. Monitor warehouse operational performance and implement corrective actions where required.
3PL Service Provider Coordination and SLA Management
Act as the key point of contact for third-party logistics service providers. Manage operational communications, issue escalation and service reviews. Develop, monitor and review SLA and KPI metrics including timeliness, accuracy, inventory performance, quality and capacity utilisation. Conduct operational audits and identify service improvement opportunities.
Process Optimisation and Cost Efficiency Improvement
Drive warehouse process optimisation initiatives to improve productivity and operational efficiency. Analyse operational data, resource utilisation and cost drivers. Support warehouse layout, storage utilisation and workflow improvement initiatives. Recommend and implement operational improvements to support business growth and customer requirements.
Labour and Productivity Management
Support workforce planning and labour allocation based on forecasted demand. Monitor labour productivity, staffing efficiency and operational performance. Identify bottlenecks and support resource planning initiatives during peak periods.
Inventory and Quality Control Management
Ensure inventory accuracy and effective stock control practices. Support inventory reconciliation and continuous inventory improvement initiatives. Establish and maintain quality-control standards and operating procedures. Support returns management and warehouse compliance requirements.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Collaborate closely with Planning, Logistics, Procurement, Commercial and other stakeholders. Support warehouse capacity planning and operational readiness projects. Participate in warehouse expansion, transition, optimisation and continuous improvement initiatives.
