Scrumdiddly's Ice Cream Limited, with a registered address at 1st Floor, 13-15 Main Street, Fairview, Dublin 3, D03 R5C8, is currently looking to recruit an Operations Manager to join its very busy team at its premises at Scrumdiddly's Charlestown, Unit 1b, Charlestown Shopping Centre, Saint Margaret's Road, Dublin 11, D11 KXC7. Key Responsibilities: Develop and execute the local store marketing plan in line with company guidelines. Complete the weekly Scrumdiddly's Audit and maintain records for inspection. Manage purchasing of ice cream ingredients, packaging, and consumables, and oversee preparation of related accounts. Uphold required standards of ice cream quality, beverage quality, and customer service; ensure kitchen and serving areas meet statutory cleanliness and hygiene standards. Liaise regularly with Senior Management on staffing matters. Record weekly stock and non-consumable purchases, keeping the store within its weekly purchasing budget. Plan and manage staffing, financial, material, and other short- and long-term store requirements. Maintain the highest standards of hygiene in strict adherence to the Scrumdiddly's Food Safety Management System, including accurate temperature records for freezers and storage areas. Manage weekly employee hours on the payroll return, including holidays and time owed, ensuring compliance with the Organisation of Working Time Act 1997. What We Are Looking For: Proven experience managing a retail, food service, or hospitality store, ideally in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment. Required: Working knowledge of HACCP and food safety management systems, with hands-on experience maintaining compliance and temperature records. Track record of managing budgets, stock control, and supplier purchasing. Working knowledge of Irish employment law, including the Organisation of Working Time Act 1997. Strong people-management skills - comfortable owning staffing decisions and liaising with senior leadership. Confident with digital tools for scheduling, time tracking, and reporting (Connecteam experience an advantage). Candidate Requirements: A minimum of two years of relevant experience working in a similar role. Remuneration: €36,605 per year, 39-hour working week.
