It is desirable that candidates demonstrate through their application form and at the interview that he/she :
• Has the knowledge and an understanding of the role of Civil Defence
• Can build an effective team and manage and motivate people.
• Has good interpersonal and communication skills
• Will be able to work on their own initiative as required
• Has the ability to integrate well with existing Civil Defence Volunteers
• Will be willing to work flexible hours as required
• Has the ability and understanding to follow policy and procedures
