Donegal Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent Working Hours: 39 hours per week Annual Salary: €36,605 per annum Weekly Salary: €703.94 per week Hourly Rate: €18.05 per hour Proposed Starting Date: 01/11/2026 We are seeking a skilled and passionate Baker to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of baking techniques and experience . As a Baker, you will be responsible for creating a wide range of baked goods, ensuring product quality, and maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment. Key Responsibilities: - Prepare and bake a variety of bread, pastries, and other baked goods. - Follow and develop recipes while maintaining high-quality standards. - Decorate and present pastries and baked goods in an appealing manner. - Manage inventory levels and order supplies as needed. - Ensure that all products are produced on time and are of good quality. - Operate and maintain all baking equipment safely. - Keep the kitchen and work areas clean and organized, adhering to food safety regulations. - Collaborate with kitchen staff to develop new recipes and menu items. - Monitor oven temperatures, speed settings, mixing machines, and other baking equipment. - Adjust recipes based on altitude, ingredient variations, and customer preferences. Key Requirements: - Proven experience as a Baker or relevant role in a bakery or restaurant. - Strong knowledge of baking techniques and the pastry-making process. - Creativity in crafting and presenting baked goods. - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and stand for extended periods. - No qualification required ( at least 2 year experience required)
