The Shaw Commercials Group in Castlebar currently has a vacancy for a Graduate Business Analyst.
Reporting to the Operations Manager, the successful candidate will play an important role in the business with have multiple responsibilities and duties that will span across various departments. This is a busy work environment working to weekly and monthly deadlines. This is an ideal opportunity for a business graduate looking to develop an in-depth knowledge of Renault Trucks products and services.
Job Description:
Work with management, department heads and operational teams to understand business needs, challenges and opportunities and translate these into clear and actionable business requirements.
Review and analyse existing business processes, workflows, systems and reporting structures to identify inefficiencies and opportunities for improvement.
Gather, document, structure and prioritise business requirements to support business improvement initiatives and organisational objectives.
Analyse business, sales and operational information to identify trends, issues and opportunities and provide meaningful insights to support management decision-making.
Develop and maintain management reports, dashboards and performance tracking tools using Microsoft Excel, Power BI and other appropriate reporting tools.
Monitor key business performance indicators and assist in identifying trends, variances and areas requiring management attention.
Support continuous improvement initiatives across the organisation, with a focus on improving efficiency, accuracy, cost-effectiveness and overall business performance.
Assist with improving and automating regular reporting and operational processes to reduce manual workload and improve efficiency and accuracy.
Identify practical opportunities to use digital tools and automation to improve day-to-day business processes and ways of working.
Work with different departments to understand operational requirements and support the development and implementation of practical business solutions.
Support the introduction and improvement of business systems and digital tools to ensure they meet identified business and operational requirements.
Assist with testing and implementation of new systems, processes, reporting solutions and business improvements.
Act as a link between business users and internal or external technical teams by clearly documenting and communicating business requirements.
Develop and enhance reporting processes and performance measures to support effective, data-driven decision-making.
Support the accuracy, consistency and integrity of business and reporting data and follow appropriate data protection and governance procedures.
Prepare business reports, process documentation, presentations and recommendations for management and relevant stakeholders.
Monitor implemented business and process improvements and assist in evaluating their effectiveness.
