Swanriver ltd requires multiple Carpenter roles for their premises at Swanpoint, Abbeyquater North, Sligo F91 NCA4. The salary range starts from €36,605 (18.05/hr) to €54,000 (26.63/hr) based on a 39-hour week. Salary will increase proportionately if additional hours are required. Salary offered shall be based on relevant experience and qualifications. Job Description - The successful candidate will support the upkeep, repair, and improvement of the hotel’s facilities, ensuring that guest rooms, public areas, staff areas, and other hotel spaces are maintained to a high standard. The role requires someone with practical carpentry skills, good attention to detail, and the ability to complete work efficiently while maintaining a safe and professional working environment. The Carpenter will be responsible for carrying out general carpentry, joinery, repair, and maintenance work throughout the hotel, including repairing and installing doors, frames, furniture, fixtures, fittings, flooring, and other wooden structures. The role will also involve measuring, cutting, shaping, and assembling materials, completing maintenance and refurbishment works, identifying and repairing defects, and ensuring all work is completed to a high standard while following health and safety procedures. KEY REQUIREMENTS Required Qualifications - The successful candidate should have relevant experience as a Carpenter, with good knowledge of carpentry techniques, tools, materials, and general building maintenance. The candidate should be able to read basic drawings or measurements, work independently and as part of a team, demonstrate good attention to detail, and maintain a high standard of workmanship. Previous experience in hotel, commercial, or property maintenance environments would be an advantage.
