SANDMAN HOTEL GROUP (IRELAND) LIMITED is currently recruiting for a Chef de Partie – Pastry. The successful candidate will support and assist the Executive Chef and contribute to the smooth operation of our banquet functions. Responsibilities will include training and supervising team members, scheduling, preparing requisitions and ordering supplies and food items for production, as well as pastry mise en place and service in the restaurant kitchen. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and producing a range of high-quality pastries. Experience in preparing à la carte dishes are also required. Duties will include monitoring food quality and ensuring that all work is carried out in accordance with Sandman Hotel Group (IRELAND) LIMITED standards. Minimum 2 years previous Chef de Partie experience needed. The candidate should be passionate about food, have strong communication skills, willingness to learn and develop their own skills and also a good level of experience at the modern level. Other requirements include: Chef de Partie experience in a modern dining environment. Food Hygiene training/experience. This position is a full-time permanent position. 39 hours per week. €37,500 per annum salary. Place of employment: Portmarnock Resort & Jameson Golf Links, Strand Road, Portmarnock, Co.
