The Salthill Hotel is seeking an enthusiastic, experienced, and customer-focused Food & Beverage Duty Manager to join our team.
This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated hospitality professional who enjoys leading a team, delivering exceptional guest experiences, and ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our food and beverage outlets.
The Role
As Food & Beverage Duty Manager, you will play a key role in the day-to-day management of the hotel's food and beverage operations. You will lead and support the team while maintaining the highest standards of service, quality, and guest satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee the daily operation of the hotel's food and beverage outlets.
Lead, motivate, and support the Food & Beverage team.
Ensure consistently high standards of customer service and guest satisfaction.
Manage service during busy periods, functions, conferences, and events.
Assist with staff scheduling, training, and performance management.
Ensure compliance with health & safety, HACCP, and company procedures.
Monitor food and beverage quality, presentation, and service standards.
Assist with stock control, ordering, and cost management.
Handle guest queries and resolve issues professionally and efficiently.
Work closely with the wider hotel management team to ensure smooth operations.
Lead by example and maintain a positive and professional working environment.
The Ideal Candidate:
We are looking for someone who:
Has previous supervisory or management experience within a hotel, restaurant, or busy hospitality environment.
Has excellent customer service and communication skills.
Is confident leading and motivating a team.
Can remain calm and organised in a fast-paced environment.
Has a strong eye for detail and high standards of service.
Is flexible and available to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays as required.
Has a genuine passion for hospitality and creating memorable guest experiences.
Is commercially aware and understands the importance of controlling costs while maintaining service standards.
