Car Mechanic Employer: Mariusz & Dorota Fulawka T/A Marius Garage Location: Unit 5, Center, Roxboro Enterprise Centre, Rathbane North, Limerick, Eircode: V94 YK46 Contract: Full-time, Permanent Hours: 39 hours per week Salary: €36,605 per annum Vacancies: 1 Marius Garage is a well-established independent garage based in Limerick, specialising in the servicing, diagnosis and repair of all makes and models of passenger and light commercial vehicles. We are seeking one experienced Car Mechanic to join our team on a permanent full-time basis. Key Responsibilities: Carry out full vehicle servicing, diagnostics and mechanical repairs to a high standard. Diagnose and repair engine, braking, suspension, clutch, exhaust and electrical faults. Perform pre-NCT inspections and prepare vehicles for testing. Replace and repair components including timing belts, filters, batteries, brakes and suspension parts. Use diagnostic equipment and technical information to identify and resolve issues efficiently. Maintain a clean, organised and safe workshop environment at all times. Communicate clearly with customers regarding required work and estimated costs. Comply with all Health & Safety regulations and industry best practice. Essential Requirements: Minimum 3 years’ relevant experience as a car mechanic. Strong diagnostic and practical mechanical skills across a range of vehicle makes and models. Ability to work accurately and efficiently with attention to detail. Fluency in English (spoken and written). Full clean driving licence. Desirable: Relevant qualifications (QQI Level 6 in Motor Vehicle Maintenance or equivalent). Experience with modern diagnostic tools and software. Knowledge of air-conditioning servicing and recharge.
