Michael Naughton is seeking a Carpenter to join a small, hands-on carpentry business based in Cloyne, Co. Cork. This is a good opportunity for someone developing their skills in the trade, working directly alongside an experienced carpenter on a range of residential carpentry and joinery work. The successful candidate will work under the guidance and supervision of the business owner, carrying out general carpentry and joinery tasks including measuring, cutting and fitting timber to specification, assisting with the installation of fixtures such as staircases, doors, and fitted units, working from basic plans and instructions, and maintaining a safe and tidy work area in line with health and safety requirements. Some previous experience in carpentry or general construction is desirable but not essential, full guidance and on-the-job training will be provided. Salary: €36,605 per annum (€18.05 per hour) Hours: 39 hours per week.
