Job Summary:
Our Junior Consultants, employed in Ireland, begin their careers in data protection, privacy and AI
Governance, supporting the delivery of advice to clients across Ireland, the UK and the USA in the
Fintech, Pharma and IT sectors. Working closely under the supervision of experienced colleagues,
Graduates assist in conduction DSARs and DPIAs, contribute to GDPR research and client
documentation, and develop a strong foundation in data protection law and practice. This is a
structured role designed to build the technical knowledge, professional skills and client facing
confidence required to progress within the firm.
Working a 39 hour week your key responsibilities include:
1. Client Services
Support the Team in delivering data protection advice and DPO services to clients under the
supervision of an associate/senior consultant. Assist with note taking, research, and administrative
tasks related to client projects. Record all time spent with clients in our bespoke Time Recording
System daily, ensuring no time is omitted. Revenue is earned through billed time and this is essential
to ensure clients are billed in full for all support provided, whether they are billed monthly or on
project completion.
2. Marketing
Assist with proofreading and formatting marketing materials and content as directed.
3. Knowledge
Develop foundational knowledge of data protection law and privacy regulations. Work towards
obtaining IAPP certification and maintain CPE requirements.
Required Qualifications: Education and Experience
· Bachelor’s Degree in Fintech, Pharma, IT or Law
· 0 – 2 Years experience Data Protection in similar fields
Technical Skills
· One Trust or relate DPO Administrative platform
