Gaffney Mechanical Ltd requires multiple Plumber roles for their premises at Setanta House, 2nd Floor, Goddamendy, Ballycoolin Rd, Dublin 15, D15FYX7,, Dublin 15,, Dublin, D15 FYX7.
The salary range starts from €36,605 (18.05/hr) to €44,000 (21.70/hr) based on a 39-hour week.
Salary will increase proportionately if additional hours are required.
Salary offered shall be based on relevant experience and qualifications.
Job Description - We are seeking an experienced Plumber to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in plumbing systems, particularly within HVAC installations and maintenance. You will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and safe installation and operation of piping systems, water supply, and drainage systems for various domestic and commercial projects.
Qualified Plumber: Relevant plumbing certifications are required (e.g., QQI Level 6 or equivalent). Communication Skills: Must be proficient in conversational English with a knowledge of plumbing and construction technical terms. Good verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to liaise with clients and colleagues. Experience: At least 3 years of experience in plumbing, preferably in a HVAC or construction environment. Technical Skills: Strong understanding of plumbing systems and relevant building regulations; experience in HVAC and domestic installations is a significant advantage. Team Player: Ability to work effectively within a team, alongside HVAC engineers and technicians. Problem-Solving Skills: Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic abilities. Driving License: Full, clean driving license is preferred.
KEY REQUIREMENTS
Required Qualifications - Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems associated with HVAC units, including heating systems, boilers, and cooling systems. Collaborate with HVAC technicians to ensure seamless installation and integration of plumbing and HVAC systems. Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve plumbing issues that may arise during installation and maintenance. Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications for plumbing system installations. Ensure all work complies with industry standards, building regulations, and health & safety protocols. Conduct testing to ensure plumbing systems are installed correctly and functioning efficiently. Prepare accurate reports on work progress, material requirements, and system performance. Provide support to the team on international projects, as required, with potential travel and work opportunities abroad.
