Vehicle Technican

The RoleWe are seeking 2 experienced Vehicle Technicians / Mechanics to join a professional workshop environment working on modern Euro VI HGVs and LCVs.This is a role for a complete technician who can maintain, diagnose and repair all aspects of modern commercial vehicles. The successful candidate will be equally comfortable carrying out servicing, advanced diagnostics, electrical fault finding, engine and driveline repairs, and complex vehicle system repairs.You will have strong experience using OEM diagnostic equipment and a proven ability to identify root causes and deliver effective repairs across mechanical, electrical and electronic systems.This position will suit a technician who takes pride in quality workmanship, enjoys solving technical challenges and can work confidently across the complete vehicle rather than specialising in one area alone.Experience working with MAN and Iveco vehicles would be a distinct advantage.Key ResponsibilitiesCarry out servicing, maintenance and repairs on HGV and LCV vehiclesDiagnose and repair mechanical, electrical and electronic faultsUse OEM diagnostic equipment to identify and resolve vehicle issuesTroubleshoot wiring, CAN-bus and complex vehicle system faultsPerform engine, transmission, braking, suspension and driveline repairsComplete all work to manufacturer and workshop standardsMaintain high levels of workshop safety and complianceWork collaboratively with colleagues to ensure efficient workshop operationsAccurately complete job cards and supporting documentationRequirementsProven experience as an HGV Technician, Mechanic or Commercial Vehicle TechnicianStrong diagnostic and fault-finding capabilityExperience using OEM manufacturer diagnostic equipmentExcellent mechanical, electrical and repair skillsGood understanding of modern HGV and LCV electronic systemsExperience diagnosing and repairing wiring and electrical faultsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamCommitment to quality workmanship and attention to detailRelevant trade qualification preferred.Apply with your CV, qualifications, and a brief cover note to [email protected]
