Galway, with work at other sites across the west of Ireland.Contract Full-time, permanent.Hours 39 paid hours per week.Monday to Thursday: 08:00-17:00; Friday: 08:00-16:00.One-hour unpaid lunch break each day.Annual basic salary €48,144.72, excluding overtime.Basic hourly rate €23.74.SD BUENO LIMITED is seeking a skilled Carpenter to carry out carpentry work at its main site in Gort, Co.Galway, and at other sites across the west of Ireland.Main duties- Read and interpret drawings, plans and specifications.- Measure, mark out, cut, shape and assemble timber and related materials.- Carry out first and second fix carpentry, including fitting door frames, doors, skirting boards, architravesand other timber fittings.- Install, repair and replace timber components and check completed work for accuracy and quality.- Use hand tools, power tools and carpentry equipment safely.- Coordinate with other trades and follow site instructions and health and safety procedures.Requirements- A relevant carpentry qualification or demonstrable practical experience in the duties listed.- Ability to read drawings, take accurate measurements and work to specifications.- Good workmanship, attention to detail and ability to work independently and as part of a team.- Appropriate site safety training, including a valid Safe Pass where applicable.- Availability to work at assigned sites across the west of Ireland.Overtime will be paid separately at the applicable rates.
