Glenn Wood requires multiple Carpenter roles for their premises at Axis Business Park, Clara Road, Tullamore, Offaly, R35 VK03.The salary range starts from €36,605 (18.05/hr) to €42,000 (20.71/hr) based on a 39-hour week.Salary will increase proportionately if additional hours are required.Salary offered shall be based on relevant experience and qualifications.Job Description - The Carpenter will carry out first-fix, second-fix, and finishing carpentry across new builds, renovations, extensions, and social housing projects.

This role is suited to a skilled tradesperson who takes pride in craftsmanship and can contribute to the delivery of high-quality projects.Perform first-fix carpentry including structural framing, roofing, joists, partitions, and formworkComplete second-fix carpentry including doors, skirting, architraves, kitchens, and finishing worksRead and interpret drawings, plans, and specificationsMeasure, cut, fit, and install timber and other materials to required tolerancesCarry out snagging and finishing works to a high standardCoordinate with site teams and other trades to maintain programme schedulesEnsure works are delivered in line with quality standards and building regulationsMaintain tools, materials, and work areas in a safe and organised conditionSupport renovation and upgrade works on occupied or live environments where requiredReport issues affecting quality, safety, or progress to managementKEY REQUIREMENTSRequired Qualifications - Qualified Carpenter or time-served equivalentSafe PassManual Handling certificationProven experience in residential or commercial constructionStrong knowledge of first-fix and second-fix carpentryAbility to work from technical drawingsHigh attention to finish qualityStrong work ethic and reliability
