The role involves carrying out a broad range of gardening, landscaping and outdoor maintenance work across residential and commercial client properties.Key ResponsibilitiesGrass cutting, lawn maintenance and general garden upkeepHedge trimming, pruning and cutting back trees, shrubs and plantsWeeding, planting, soil preparation and general horticultural workLeaf blowing, sweeping and general outdoor/site clean-upCleaning and maintaining outdoor features such as fountains and swimming poolsLandscaping, ground preparation and improvement of outdoor areasInstallation and maintenance of paving, slabs, cobbles, walls, planting areas and other landscaping featuresRemoval and clearing of garden waste and general outdoor debrisUse of lawnmowers, strimmers, blowers, hedge cutters and other gardening equipmentLoading, unloading and safely handling tools, materials and equipmentKeeping work areas clean, organised and safeWorking independently and as part of a teamTravelling between different work locations as requiredCarrying out other reasonable gardening, landscaping and outdoor maintenance duties required by the businessRequired Skills & QualificationPrevious gardening, landscaping, grounds maintenance or similar outdoor work experience is desirablePractical and willing to carry out physically demanding outdoor workAbility to use or learn to use gardening tools and machinery safelyGood attention to detail and pride in the quality of workReliable, punctual and able to follow instructionsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamGood communication and professional attitude when working at client propertiesFlexibility to carry out a variety of gardening and landscaping dutiesFull driving license is desirable and may be required depending on operational needs
