Job Description and Skills Required We are currently recruiting committed and compassionate Health Care Assistants who must be willing to work within some of our many Nursing Homes who are currently seeking to roster staff weekly for the foreseeable future. Minimum Fetac Level 5 or equivalent in QQI accredited certification in Healthcare is required plus the mandatory courses listed below. Proficient level of English also required. Successful candidates choose when they are available to work and we will endeavour to offer shifts to suit preferred times and locations. Candidates must have empathy for people in care and the vulnerable in our society, be willing to work under instruction, as part of a team and capable of working on own initiative. Once all the relevant checks are completed, i.e. Garda Vetting, reference check, candidates must be ready to start with immediate effect. Required training: CPR, Infection Control (hand hygiene), Patient Manual Handling, Safeguarding Vulnerable Adults, Fire Awareness, PPE training.
