The company is seeking a full-time Financial Accountant to join its finance team in Ireland. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and reviewing accounting records, preparing monthly financial reports, supporting budgeting and cash flow forecasting, assisting with financial planning, and ensuring the accurate processing of invoices, payments, and reconciliations. The role will also involve monitoring accounts payable and accounts receivable, preparing management reports, supporting internal controls, assisting with tax and compliance matters, and liaising with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure that financial systems and reporting processes are maintained effectively. Main Duties and Responsibilities - Prepare and review monthly financial reports and management accounts across multiple countries. - Maintain accurate accounting records. - Perform bank, supplier, customer, and intercompany reconciliations. - Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management. - Monitor accounts payable and accounts receivable. - Prepare financial analyses to support business decision-making. - Support tax, compliance, and audit processes. - Use accounting and ERP systems to manage financial information. - Oversee the company's business card expenses. Candidate Requirements Essential - Minimum of 2 years' relevant experience in accounting, finance, financial reporting, or financial analysis. - Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field. - ACCA qualification, ACCA student status, or equivalent professional accounting qualification. - Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and reconciliations. - Advanced Excel skills. - Strong financial analysis skills. - Fluent in English. - Valid permission to work in Ireland. Desirable - Experience with Sage 50, Sage BOB, QuickBooks, or similar accounting systems. - Knowledge of IFRS, GAAP, tax compliance, or management accounting. - Experience with budgeting, forecasting, cash flow reporting, and FP&A. - Fluency in at least one additional language. - Registration with the Brazilian accounting professional body (CRC).
