The Role
We are seeking an experienced Vehicle Technician / Mechanic to join a professional workshop environment working on modern Euro VI HGVs and LCVs.
This is a role for a complete technician who can maintain, diagnose and repair all aspects of modern commercial vehicles. The successful candidate will be equally comfortable carrying out servicing, advanced diagnostics, electrical fault finding, engine and driveline repairs, and complex vehicle system repairs.
You will have strong experience using OEM diagnostic equipment and a proven ability to identify root causes and deliver effective repairs across mechanical, electrical and electronic systems.
This position will suit a technician who takes pride in quality workmanship, enjoys solving technical challenges and can work confidently across the complete vehicle rather than specialising in one area alone.
Experience working with MAN and Iveco vehicles would be a distinct advantage.

Key Responsibilities
Carry out servicing, maintenance and repairs on HGV and LCV vehicles
Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical and electronic faults
Use OEM diagnostic equipment to identify and resolve vehicle issues
Troubleshoot wiring, CAN-bus and complex vehicle system faults
Perform engine, transmission, braking, suspension and driveline repairs
Complete all work to manufacturer and workshop standards
Maintain high levels of workshop safety and compliance
Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure efficient workshop operations
Accurately complete job cards and supporting documentation
Requirements
Proven experience as an HGV Technician, Mechanic or Commercial Vehicle Technician
Strong diagnostic and fault-finding capability
Experience using OEM manufacturer diagnostic equipment
Excellent mechanical, electrical and repair skills
Good understanding of modern HGV and LCV electronic systems
Experience diagnosing and repairing wiring and electrical faults
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Commitment to quality workmanship and attention to detail
Relevant trade qualification preferred
