We are currently seeking a skilled Panel Beater to join our growing team. The successful candidate will perform a variety of tasks related to vehicle body repairs, panel beating and restoration work.
Main Responsibilities
Carry out panel beating, bodywork repairs and restoration of damaged vehicle panels with precision and attention to detail.
Perform minor and major body repairs, including reshaping, welding and surface preparation to restore structural integrity and appearance.
Prepare and clean vehicle surfaces prior to repair or refinishing.
Assess damage, plan repair methods and ensure accurate panel alignment and fit.
Operate panel-beating tools, welding equipment and related machinery safely and effectively.
Ensure that all work meets the company’s quality, safety and environmental standards.
Maintain workshop tools, equipment and materials in clean working order.
Candidate Profile
Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Panel Beater, Body Repair Technician or equivalent role.
Experience with vehicle body repairs, panel fabrication or smart repair techniques preferred.
Knowledge of automotive body systems, welding, surface preparation and repair techniques.
Good eye for detail, panel alignment and finish quality.
Ability to work independently or as part of a small, high-performing team.
Strong commitment to quality workmanship, safety and customer satisfaction.
Must be available to work on-site for 39 hours per week.
