Plasterer required to work at Flanagan Contracts Ltd, located at Co. Clare. The ideal candidate must have a minimum of six months' experience in a similar environment. Duties will include preparing internal and external walls and surfaces for rendering and finishing works; preparing and mixing render, cement-based materials and other compounds to the required consistency; applying render and cement-based coatings to internal and external walls using mechanical spray equipment and hand tools; spreading, levelling and smoothing sprayed materials to achieve an even and professional finish; applying base coats and finishing coats as required; carrying out rendering and wall finishing works both inside and outside residential properties; repairing cracks, uneven areas and other surface imperfections; preparing work areas, materials, tools and equipment before commencement of rendering works; keeping work areas clean, organised and ready for each stage of the work; and assisting with final finishing works to ensure completed surfaces are smooth, even and finished to the required standard.
