Tracked Excavator Operator

Kinvara Corporate Legacy Limited requires multiple Tracked Excavator Operators for their premises at Carnamadra, Kinvara, Co.

Galway. The salary range starts from €36,605 (18.05/hr) to €54,000 (26.63/hr) based on a 39-hour week. Salary will increase proportionately if additional hours are required.

Salary offered shall be based on relevant experience and qualifications. Key Responsibilities Operate tracked excavators safely and efficiently on construction sites. Carry out excavation for foundations, drainage, trenches and site preparation.

Excavate and backfill in accordance with site drawings and engineering specifications. Load and move soil, stone and other construction materials. Work safely around existing underground utilities and services.

Perform daily pre-start inspections and routine maintenance checks on plant equipment. Report mechanical faults or defects to site management. Work closely with site managers, engineers, banksmen and groundworkers.

Follow all company Health & Safety procedures and site rules. Maintain a clean and safe working environment. Assist with other site duties where required.

Essential Requirements Minimum 3 years' experience operating tracked excavators on construction or civil engineering projects. Valid excavator operator certification (CSCS, CPCS, NPORS, QQI, SOLAS or equivalent recognised qualification). Strong understanding of safe excavation practices and construction site safety.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Good communication skills and a strong work ethic. Good level of spoken and written English.

Desirable Experience working on commercial, residential, pharmaceutical or infrastructure projects. Experience operating tracked excavators ranging from 8 to 30 tonnes. Safe Pass certification (or willingness to obtain before commencement).
