Job Title: Senior Duty Manager (SOC 1221) Company Name: Slk Management Services Limited T/a The Nest Location: 107-109 Upper Salthill, Galway, H91 R868 Job Description: The Senior Duty Manager will be responsible for managing and coordinating the hostel's day-to-day operations, ensuring the efficient delivery of services, the effective use of resources, and compliance with the company's quality standards. Main Responsibilities Manage and coordinate the daily operations of the hostel, ensuring operational efficiency and high standards of service. Oversee staff, human resources, and operational resources required for the effective running of the business. Assess operational requirements, including workforce planning, resource allocation, and support for the various departments. Coordinate activities across all hostel departments, ensuring smooth and efficient operations. Monitor key performance indicators, quality standards, and guest satisfaction. Support cost control, budget management, and the efficient use of the hostel's resources. Implement operational procedures and ensure compliance with internal policies, health and safety requirements, and all applicable legal obligations. Support senior management in decision-making and continuous service improvement initiatives. Requirements  Higher education qualification (Higher Certificate, Diploma or Bachelor's degree) in Tourism, Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field.  A minimum of five years' experience in hotel or hostel operations management.  Strong leadership, organisational, planning, and decision-making skills.
