ShannonDoc provides urgent out-of-hours GP services across Limerick, Clare and North Tipperary.
We are looking for a flexible, reliable and customer-focused Driver / Healthcare Support Assistant to join our Operations Team.
This is a varied role where no two shifts are the same.
You will spend much of your shift travelling between treatment centres, supporting doctors, welcoming patients and ensuring our clinics operate smoothly.

Role:
Position: Driver (Resource Staff)
Reporting to: Duty Manager / Operations Manager
Contract: 6-month Fixed-term Contract
Hours: 20 to 25 hours per week, including evenings, overnight, weekends, and public holidays, with some daytime work required.
Locations:
Treatment centres in Co. Limerick, Co. Clare, and Co. Tipperary. This position involves travelling across these locations.
Key Responsibilities:
✔ Driving doctors to house calls and treatment centres
✔ Travelling between clinics across Limerick, Clare and Tipperary
✔ Collecting laboratory specimens from GP surgeries
✔ Welcoming patients arriving at treatment centres
✔ Supporting doctors and clinic staff
✔ Setting up treatment centres before clinics begin
✔ Maintaining clinic supplies and equipment
✔ Taking patient payments
✔ Using basic computer systems
✔ Completing daily reports
✔ Helping the Call Centre team when required

Qualifications/Skills:
✔ Full clean Irish driving licence
✔ Held licence for at least 2 years
✔ Comfortable driving throughout:
Limerick
Ennis
Nenagh
✔ Excellent communication skills
✔ Basic computer skills
✔ Ability to work alone and as part of a team
✔ Professional manner
