About the Role

This position is ideally suited to someone with Irish practice experience and who is confident in handling core compliance work, communicates well with clients, and is looking to expand their knowledge across many areas and progress quickly.

Key Responsibilities
Prepare financial statements for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies
Prepare and file income tax, corporation tax, and VAT returns
Manage a portfolio of clients and act as a key point of contact
Respond to client queries in a timely and professional manner
Prepare management accounts and assist clients with financial reporting
Oversee bookkeeping and payroll for clients
Handle Revenue registrations and correspondence
Assist with company secretarial duties (annual returns, RBO filings)
Contribute to improving internal processes and workflows
Requirements
Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CPA or equivalent)
Minimum 2+ years’ experience in an Irish accountancy practice
Strong understanding of VAT, payroll, bookkeeping, and tax compliance
Experience with accounting software (e.g. QuickBooks, Xero)
Good communication skills and ability to deal directly with clients
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage deadlines
Self-motivated with a willingness to take ownership of work
