HGV Mechanic

Drumderry Precast are recruiting for a HGV Mechanic. Main responsibilities include: Repair, servicing and maintenance of HGVs. Conducting regular inspections of HGVs to identify faults or issues Conducting routine servicing and maintenance of HGVs Carrying out repairs to engines and other components of HGVs Conducting pre-CVRT inspections and preparing vehicles for CVRT Completing accurate and timely records of work undertaken and parts used Liaising with other members of the team to ensure efficient running of the workshop Ensuring all work is carried out to the highest possible standard in compliance with health and safety regulations Skills, Knowledge and Experience required: A relevant qualification in mechanical engineering or time served A minimum 2 years experience working as a HGV mechanic A thorough understanding of the mechanical and electrical systems of HGVs Ability to work independently and as part of a team
