Truly Dental is seeking a dedicated Healthcare Assistant to join our clinic in Moate, Co. Westmeath. The successful candidate will work alongside our dental team, help prepare for treatments and contribute to the efficient daily operation of the practice.
Key responsibilities:
- Supporting dental professionals with treatment preparation and patient care
- Preparing treatment rooms, equipment and materials
- Supporting patients before, during and after dental treatment
- Following infection prevention and control procedures
- Maintaining accurate patient records in accordance with GDPR
- Communicating relevant patient information and care requirements to clinical leads
- Contributing to health and safety procedures and clinical governance standards
- Supporting the training and development of junior healthcare staff
- Helping to maintain a welcoming, organised and professional clinical environment
Essential requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, Healthcare Science or a related clinical discipline
- Knowledge of patient care, infection prevention and clinical support procedures
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work effectively in a busy clinical environment
- Ability to work well independently and as part of a team
- Full eligibility to work in Ireland
Desirable requirements:
- Previous experience in a dental, healthcare or primary care setting
- Familiarity with healthcare information systems and GDPR requirements
- Experience supporting or mentoring junior healthcare staff
Employment details:
Location: Truly Dental, Church Street, Moate, Co. Westmeath, N37 P230
Contract: Permanent, full-time
Hours: 39 hours per week, Monday to Friday
Annual salary: €33,462
Start date: To be agreed
