Job Advertisement St Josephs Foundation is a voluntary organisation providing comprehensive services for people with intellectual disabilities. Founded in 1968 the Foundation has grown through continuously responding to the needs of people with intellectual disabilities and their families. We are seeking suitably qualified Healthcare Assistants on a permanent full-time contract. The responsibilities of the role will include; working as part of a dedicated team, as well as independently when required; build and maintain positive, professional relationships with service users and all stakeholders; support the day-to-day running of services, ensuring a safe and supportive environment for all; ensure adherence and understanding of HIQA standards and residential care regulations; supporting individuals with disabilities who require the assistance of the foundation at the premises in Granagh. The main function of the role is to act as a Healthcare Assistant for St Josephs Foundation supporting persons with Intellectual Disabilities. Applicant must have QQI Level 5 qualification in Healthcare or a relevant field and experience working with persons with intellectual disabilities. Applicant must also have a genuine passion for supporting individuals with disabilities and helping them maximise their quality of life.
