Plumber

Thomas Harrington are seeking a skilled and reliable Qualified Plumber to join our professional team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, repairing and maintaining plumbing systems in residential, commercial and industrial properties while delivering high standards of workmanship and customer service.Key ResponsibilitiesInstall, maintain and repair water, drainage, heating and sanitary systems.Diagnose plumbing faults and carry out effective repairs.Install and maintain pipes, fittings, valves, fixtures and appliances.Read and interpret technical drawings, plans and specifications.Conduct inspections and testing to ensure systems comply with applicable regulations.Respond to emergency call-outs and plumbing breakdowns when required.Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard.Maintain accurate records of work completed and materials used.Communicate professionally with customers, contractors and colleagues.Adhere to health and safety regulations and company procedures at all times.Essential RequirementsRecognised Plumbing Qualification or Trade Certification.Proven experience in domestic and/or commercial plumbing.Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.Ability to work independently and manage workloads effectively.Full driving licence.Good communication and customer service skills.Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, tools and materials.Desirable SkillsExperience with heating systems and boiler installations.Gas certification (where applicable).Experience in maintenance contracts and facilities management.Knowledge of renewable energy systems such as heat pumps and solar water heating.Welding, pipefitting or mechanical experience.Safe Pass, Manual Handling or equivalent safety certifications.Thomas Harrington, Gortnagappul, Bonane, Kenmare, County Kerry V93 T9Y8Annual Wage of €36605 based on a 39-hour work week.
