Car Transporter Driver

Euro Logistics are looking for a professional and experienced Car Transporter Driver to join our growing transport operation. This role involves the safe collection, transportation and delivery of vehicles across local, national and international routes. The successful candidate will be responsible for loading, securing and transporting vehicles while maintaining the highest standards of safety, customer service and vehicle care.Euro Car Logistics, Clonacody Grange Clonmel Tipperary E91 RH27Annual Wage €36605 based on a 39-hour week.

Hourly rate €18.05Key ResponsibilitiesOperate car transporter vehicles safely and efficiently.Load and unload cars, vans and light commercial vehicles onto transporters.Secure vehicles using approved methods to prevent damage during transit.Conduct pre-trip, en-route and post-trip vehicle inspections.Collect and deliver vehicles to dealerships, ports, auctions, fleet operators and private customers.Complete transport documentation and delivery reports accurately.Ensure compliance with drivers' hours regulations, road transport legislation and company procedures.Maintain excellent communication with transport planners and customers.Report any vehicle damage, defects or transport-related issues immediately.Keep vehicles clean, roadworthy and professionally presented.Essential RequirementsValid CE (Class 1) Driving Licence.Good understanding of transport regulations and driver compliance requirements.Strong attention to detail and commitment to vehicle care.Ability to work independently and manage delivery schedules effectively.Excellent customer service and communication skills.Desirable ExperiencePrevious experience operating car transporters.Experience loading and securing a variety of vehicle types.Knowledge of vehicle auctions, dealership logistics and fleet transportation.International driving experience.Mechanical knowledge would be advantageous.
