Key Responsibilities Provide personal care and assistance with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, toileting, grooming, and mobility support. Travel to and from clients’ homes to deliver care and support services. Support clients during mealtimes, ensuring appropriate nutrition and hydration. Build positive relationships with clients and their families, offering emotional support and companionship. Maintain accurate care records and report any changes in a client’s condition to the nursing team promptly. Deliver consistently high standards of emotional, social, and personal care. Job Details Location: Nationwide Job Title: Home Care Support Worker Hours: 39 hours per week Number of Positions: 5 Salary: €32,691 per annum (approx. €628.67 per week / €16.12 per hour based on 39 hours) Requirements QQI Level 5 in Healthcare Support (or equivalent), or an applicable QQI Level 7 qualification. Minimum 1 year experience as a Home Care Support Worker/Healthcare Assistant or in a similar role (e.g., Care Skills, Care of the Older Person) preferred. A valid driving licence (Irish/EEA or international) is essential. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Compassionate and empathetic approach to care. Physical stamina to carry out required duties. Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends.
